Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is designed to enhance the size, shape, and fullness of the breasts, creating a more balanced and confidently contoured figure. Using advanced implant or fat transfer techniques, our board-certified plastic surgeons tailor each procedure to your anatomy and aesthetic goals. The surgery typically takes about 1 to 2 hours and is performed under general anesthesia. Most patients return to work within a week, while cardiovascular activity and heavy lifting should be avoided for approximately four to six weeks. Initial enhancement is visible immediately, with about 70% of swelling resolving within four to six weeks and full results settling by around three months. Incisions are placed discreetly for minimal visibility, ensuring smooth, natural-looking results that complement your unique features.

Support Your Implants

In some cases, your plastic surgeon may recommend the internal bra technique to provide additional support for your implants during a breast augmentation, lift, or revision surgery. This approach involves placing a soft, absorbable mesh inside the breast pocket to reinforce the tissue and help secure the implant in an ideal position. The mesh acts like an internal scaffold, giving your body time to develop stronger, more supportive tissue in its place. Over time, the mesh naturally dissolves, leaving behind a more stable foundation that helps maintain shape, projection, and cleavage for longer-lasting results. Your surgeon will determine if this technique is appropriate for your goals during your consultation.

The internal bra may be recommended for patients who:

• Have thin, weak, or stretched breast tissue
• Are experiencing implant malposition (such as bottoming out or lateral shifting)
• Are receiving larger or heavier implants
• Want more defined cleavage or longer-lasting lift results
